Students / Externships

Externship opportunities for every age 

Marshfield Veterinary Service welcomes students interested in veterinary medicine.  Whether you are in high school or in college and considering a career in veterinary medicine, you are welcome.  You can spend a day observing large or small animal medicine.

For those in veterinary school, we have had many students complete externships or internships.  We are also part of the ambulatory program at the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.  If you are not from this area, we have accommodations including a bed, lounge area, small kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities.  Please call or email us if you are interested in these opportunities.
